Why did you become a seminarian?
In my youth, on one Saturday night in adoration, I urged Jesus to reveal his plans for my life. Towards the end of the hour, in the silence, I felt Jesus say to me, “priesthood.” Then, in the pandemic of 2020, I surrendered my will to God and received many graces. One of those graces was the freedom to enter seminary and I am now on the path to become the person God created me to be.

What did you do before seminary?
I attended Alleman Catholic High School in Rock Island. I was also an altar server for Spanish Masses at St. Mary’s Moline.

An interesting fact about you:
I grew up playing the trumpet and soccer. I speak Spanish, and I like watching the Chosen series.
