Why did you become a seminarian?
I actually started the application process to the seminary 10 years ago, but it wasn’t God’s time. Throughout these past years I became a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant), then an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician), and eventually a paramedic. At each stage I always felt called to do more for the people I was serving. At the same time, I began to hear God’s voice continually asking me to try out seminary again. One day, while in adoration, I realized this desire to do more for the people I served was not only to help them physically, but also to help them on a deeper lever, the spiritual level. My calling is to grow the kingdom of God and to help Jesus save souls! I told God that I was finally willing to give seminary a try.
What did you do before seminary?
I am a graduate of Alleman Catholic High School, I went to Blackhawk College, and I have been working ever since.
An interesting fact about you:
I have been involved in the TEC (Teens Encounter Christ) community for 14 years. The retreats, the community, and the opportunity to lead souls to Christ has been an instrumental part of my faith journey.
