1 Cor 12:25-27: There may be no division in the body, but that the parts may have the same concern for one another.  If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it; if one part is honored, all the parts share its joy.  Now you are Christ’s body, and individually parts of it.

1 Corinthians 12:4-11: There are different kinds of spiritual gifts but the same Spirit; there are different forms of service but the same Lord; there are different workings but the same God who produces all of them in everyone. To each individual the manifestation of the Spirit is given for some benefit. To one is given through the Spirit the expression of wisdom; to another the expression of knowledge according to the Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit; …But one and the same Spirit produces all of these, distributing them individually to each person as he wishes.

1 Peter 5: 8-11: Be sober and vigilant. Your opponent the devil is prowling around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. The God of all grace who called you to His eternal glory through Christ will restore, confirm, strengthen and establish you after you have suffered a little. To Him be dominion forever.

1 Timothy 6:17-19: Tell the rich in the present age not to be proud and not to rely on so uncertain a thing as wealth but rather on God, who richly provides us with all things for our enjoyment.  Tell them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous, ready to share, thus accumulating as treasure a good foundation for the future, so as to win the life that is true life.

2 Corinthians 5:20: So we are ambassadors for Christ, as if God were appealing through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

2 Corinthians 9:6-8: Consider this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each must do as already determined, without sadness or compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. Moreover, God is able to make every grace abundant for you, so that in all things, always having all you need, you may have an abundance for every good work.

Acts 4:32-34: The community of believers was of one heart and mind, and no one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they had everything in common. With great power the apostles bore witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great favor was accorded them all. There was no needy person among them, for those who owned property would sell them, bring the proceeds of the sale.

Deuteronomy 16:15-17: Since the Lord, your God, has blessed you in all your crops and in all your undertakings, you will be full of joy … You shall not appear before the Lord empty-handed, but each with his own gift, in proportion to the blessing which the Lord, your God, has given to you.

Ephesians 4:1-6: Live in a manner worthy of the call you have received with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another through love, striving to preserve the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace, one body and one Spirit, as you were also called to the one hope of your call, one Lord, one faith, and one baptism on God and Father of us all.

Galatians 5:22-26: In contrast, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness. Self-control. Against such there is no law. Now those who belong to Christ have crucified their flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also follow the Spirit. Let us not be conceited, provoking one another, envious of one another.

Genesis 2:15: The Lord God then took the man and settled him in the garden of Eden to cultivate and care for it.

Leviticus 27:30,32: All tithes of the land, whether in grain from the fields or in fruit from the trees, belong to the Lord, as sacred to Him…The tithes of the herd and the flock shall be determined by ceding to the Lord as sacred every tenth animal as they are counted by the herdsman’s rod.

Luke 12:49-50: Jesus said to his disciples, “I have come to set the earth on fire, and how I wish it were already blazing! There is a baptism with which I must be baptized, and how great is my anguish until it is accomplished!”

Luke 7:16-17: Fear seized them all, and they glorified God, exclaiming, “A great prophet has arisen in our midst,” and “God has visited his people.”  This report about him spread through the whole of Judea and in all the surrounding region.

Luke 8:15: As for the seed that fell on rich soil, they are the ones who, when they have heard the word, embrace it with a generous and good heart, and bear fruit through perseverance.

Mark 4:31-32: It is like a mustard seed that, when it is sown in the ground, is the smallest of all the seeds on the earth. But once it is sown, it springs up and becomes the largest of plants and puts forth large branches, so that the birds of the sky can dwell in its shade.

Matthew 21:43: Therefore, I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people that will produce its fruits.

Matthew 25:20-21: He said, Master, you gave me five talents. See, I have made five more. His master said to him, well done, my good and faithful servant. Since you were faithful in small matters, I will give you great responsibilities. Come, share your master’s joy.

Matthew 25:35: I was a stranger and you welcomed me.

Matthew 6:16-18: And when you fast, be not as the hypocrites, sad. For they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Amen I say to you, they have received their reward. But thou, when thou fastest anoint thy head, and wash thy face; That thou appear not to men to fast, but to thy Father who is in secret.

Proverbs 3:9-10: Honor the Lord with your wealth, with first fruits of all your produce; then will your barns be filled with grain, with new wine your vats will overflow.

Psalm 118: Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, His mercy endures forever. Let Israel say His mercy endures forever. Let the house of Aaron say, His mercy endures forever. Let those who fear the Lord say, His mercy endures forever. In danger I called on the Lord; the Lord answered me and set me free. The Lord is with me as my helper.

Revelation 21:1-5: Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth…I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, God’s dwelling is with the human race. He will dwell with them and they will be his people and God himself will always be with them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or mourning…” The one who sat on the throne said “Behold, I make all things new.”

Sirach 35:6-10: he just man’s sacrifice is most pleasing, nor will it be forgotten. In generous spirit pay homage to the Lord, be not sparing of freewill gifts. With each contribution show a cheerful countenance and pay your tithes in a spirit of joy. Give to the Most High as he has given to you, generously according to your means. For the Lord is one who always repays, and He will give back to you seven-fold.

Tobit 4:8-9: Son, give alms in proportion to what you own. If you have great wealth, give alms out of your abundance; if you have but little, distribute even some of that. But do not hesitate to give alms; you will be storing up a goodly treasure for yourself against the day of adversity.
