HISTORY
In 1896, a new Lancashire-Marshall organ was installed at St. Joseph in Peoria. It was powered by a water motor pump. The organ cost $4,000. In 1960, the organ, in need of repairs, stopped playing. It was repaired in 1980 and is functional. More repairs were made to the organ in 2015 and the 1896 organ is back in use again.
If you are curious, yes, the organ is still powered by a water motor!
