Retreat Center – Nazareth House
Nazareth House Retreat Center is currently closed for renovation.
Why A Retreat?
A retreat is a unique personal experience: a time for special reflection on the meaning and direction of our lives; for opening ourselves to God's loving presence; for slowing down and appreciating the moments when He has touched us directly or indirectly through His creation and our friends.
Today, more than ever, we believe that people need to get away from the routine of life into a quiet, restful atmosphere of nature to revitalize themselves.
Nazareth House is a renewal center where people of all ages and religions can come to grow and draw strength so as to find a balance in their lives.
Nazareth House Retreat Center
Nazareth House (formerly known as Christ the King Retreat Center, or simply King's House), founded in 1962 by the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate, is directed by the Catholic Diocese of Peoria. We offer members of all faiths a setting and atmosphere for experiencing the reality of God's love for them.
