Schools with NCA in their listing are also accredited by the North Central Association on Accreditation and School Improvement [NCA CASI], an accreditation division of AdvanceED. Founded in 1895, NCA CASI accredits public and private schools and districts in 19 states, the Navajo Nation, and the Department of Defense Schools worldwide. AdvancdED is the parent organization for the North Central Association Commission of Accreditation and School Improvements, Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvements, and National Study of School Evaluation.
